OKSANA HUSS
Oksana Huss is a political scientist whose work focuses on democratic governance and societal resilience in Ukraine and Eastern Europe. Her research examines EU-oriented reform processes and the interplay between state institutions, civil society and digital technologies in the reforms. Huss has analysed the political, legal, and societal dimensions of democratic consolidation, paying close attention to the challenges faced by societies in transition and under external pressures. Her work offers a nuanced understanding of how endeavours for European integration facilitate domestic political transformation and enhance the resilience of democratic institutions.
In addition to her academic scholarship, Huss is actively engaged in facilitating dialogue and exchange between policymakers, scholars, and civil society actors, bridging analytical insight with practical relevance on questions of European governance, democracy, and societal resilience.
