MIRIAM KOSMEHL
Miriam Kosmehl is a renowned expert in Eastern Europe and EU Neighbourhood policy, serving as a Senior Expert at the Bertelsmann Stiftung's Europe’s Future Program. Her career includes leadership roles at the Friedrich-Naumann-Stiftung for Ukraine and Belarus, as well as positions in Poland, Russia, and Central Asia. Kosmehl, who holds a law degree and a Second Legal State Examination from the District Court of Düsseldorf, is fluent in German, English, French, and Russian.
At Bertelsmann Stiftung, she works on projects such as "Souveränes Europa" and "Strategien für die EU-Nachbarschaft," focusing on the Eastern Partnership region. She has authored various articles and reports on topics like Ukraine’s role in global food supply, the dynamics of EU and neighboring countries' relations, and the geopolitical aspects of the Black Sea region. Her recent works include studies on "Antagonisms in the European Neighbourhood."
