Maria Repko
Maria Repko has been the Deputy Director of the Center for Economic Strategy in Kyiv since 2015, where she is responsible for coordinating research in public policy areas related to macroeconomic stability, including monetary and fiscal policy, as well as financial sector policy. Her professional background includes roles as an analyst at Troika Dialog Ukraine and as a director at Empire State Capital Partners. Repko holds a Master’s degree in Management from Kyiv National University of Economics and a Master’s degree in Finance from the Ukrainian Institute of Stock Market Development. Her work focuses on macroeconomic stability and financial sector policy in Ukraine.
She specialises in public policy areas crucial to achieving macroeconomic stability, focusing on monetary and fiscal policy and policy concerning the financial sector. With an academic background in public policy and financial markets, Maria's knowledge is complemented by her extensive previous experience as a financial analyst at investment banks in international financial markets.
