LAURA CHRISTOPH

Laura Christoph is a Research Associate at the Institut für Europäische Politik (IEP) in Berlin. Her work primarily involves project management and research assistance in various projects related to European integration and governance. Key projects she has worked on include "Research on Local Governance and Decentralisation" (ReLoaD) and "UkraineMEMO," which focus on local governance, decentralization, and the transformation process in Ukraine.

Her academic background includes a Master's degree in Eastern European Studies and Political Science from Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich and the University of Warsaw, and a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Political Science from TU Dresden. This diverse educational background underpins her expertise in her current roles.

Christoph is multilingual, with proficiency in German, English, French, Polish, and Hungarian. This linguistic versatility complements her work in international and cross-cultural contexts. Before joining IEP, she gained valuable experience through an internship at the NGO "Post-Conflict Research Center" in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and as a Junior Project Manager for the project "Civic School for Sound EU Practice" (CiSEP) at IEP, Berlin.
