FRANK SCHIMMELFENNIG
Prof. Dr. Frank Schimmelfennig is a renowned academic at ETH Zurich, where he has served as a Full Professor of European Politics since 2005. His academic background is diverse, with studies in Political Science and History across several universities including Mainz, Dijon, Tübingen, and Tufts University's Fletcher School for Law and Diplomacy in Medford, Massachusetts, USA. He earned his doctoral degree from the University of Tübingen in 1995 and his Habilitation from Darmstadt University of Technology in 2001. His thesis "The EU, NATO and the Integration of Europe. At ETH Zurich, Prof. Schimmelfennig leads the European Politics Research Group and is a key member of the Center for Comparative and International Studies.
